Refund & Cancellation Policy

About This Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services purchased from The Bitcoin Research Company, Bitcoin Research LLC (“TBRC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and any applicable proposal, statement of work, or training agreement.
1. Custom Research & Enablement Engagements
Custom research, advisory, and organizational enablement engagements are generally non-refundable once work has begun. This includes time reserved for discovery, planning, analysis, development, preparation, and delivery. Before work begins, any cancellation or refund request will be considered in light of the work already committed, contracted third-party costs, and the applicable written agreement.
2. Training & Workshops
For training sessions and workshops, refund or rescheduling requests must be received at least [insert number] days before the scheduled session. Requests received within [insert number] days of the session are non-refundable, except as otherwise agreed by TBRC in writing. Participants who do not attend a scheduled session without prior notice are not eligible for a refund. A permitted reschedule is subject to instructor availability and may incur reasonable additional costs.
3. Partnership Introductions
Fees associated with partnership introductions are non-refundable once the introduction has been made. TBRC’s role is limited to facilitating the introduction; we do not guarantee a commercial outcome, transaction, or continuing relationship between any parties.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation, email info@bitcoinresearchcompany.com with your name, organization, service purchased, purchase date, and the reason for your request. We will review eligible requests and respond within a reasonable period. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

5. Exceptions
TBRC may make exceptions to this Policy at its sole discretion, including in circumstances involving documented emergencies, material service disruptions, or other exceptional situations. Any exception must be confirmed by TBRC in writing and does not create a precedent for future requests.
